This is my final year participating in Ball State University Dance Marathon and I couldn't be more excited. This year I have the priveledge of acting as a member of the executive board, Co-Director of Productions.
This organization means so very much to me. It gives me an outlet to express my committment and love for helping children at Riley Hospital for Children. I became very familiar with this hospital when I was in 8th grade due to my sister being diagnosed with a brain tumor. They spent several months in the Indianapolis area and received great care. I also met a young girl named Jada when my sister was receiving treatment. This young girl was a strong fighter and never lost hope. Jada unfortunately passed away at a young age due to relapsing into childhood cancer. From this point on in my life, I decided to fight for these children becasue children deserve the chance to grow up and be kids all along the way. I am currently a senior nursing student and I plan on applying at Riley Hospital for children this year to work as an RN after graduation.
Please consider donating to this cause and join us to help give these children, patients, and families a fighting chance. FTK! (For the Kids).
