This year I have the opportunity to participate in the Ball State University Riley Dance Marathon. This 13.1-hour long event will raise money for the kids at Riley Hospital for Children. All proceeds will help fund the Magic Castle Cart, a cart rolled around Riley Hospital delivering toys, games, and stuffed animals to the children staying there. This is a part of their smile therapy effort, which encourages fun activities and events for patients. Proceeds will also go towards the Palliative Care Unit which typically provides support for families and patients with terminal diseases, but will also provide care services for other types of patients as well.
I am excited to be working on the Stewardship Committee and the first ever Leadership Team of BSUDM! My goal, as of now, is to raise ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS before the Dance Marathon on February 17th 2018.
Thank you for taking the time to read about my involvement with BSUDM. I hope you consider donating for the kids!
